The built-in solid E61 brewing group is still one of the best brewing groups for espresso machines and has been installed in professional machines for decades. The solid construction is particularly temperature-stable and the integrated pre-brewing chamber moistens the ground coffee briefly before brewing so that as many of the desired aromas as possible are extracted from the coffee. A powerful Ulka vibration pump ensures a pressure of up to 15 bar.

The Appartemento works (relatively) very quietly, as it is designed to be particularly vibration-damped. The otherwise loud operating noises caused by the vibration of the pump and amplified by the housing are reduced - so the Appartamento is significantly less disturbing for late risers or colleagues in the office.
