In keeping with the "Single Frame Design", Sanremo has designed the Zoe portafilter machine to be extremely robust and long-lasting, even under constant high levels of use. The optimized mass production technology ensures very low operating and maintenance costs. In particular, all wearing parts can be replaced quickly and cheaply. The boiler and all pipes are made of copper and are also treated to prevent deposits.

The distinctive design not only offers the barista a "bella macchina", but is also an ergonomically perfect workplace for the barista. The work area can optionally be illuminated with LEDs. The barista can see the pressure and temperature in the integrated instrument cluster, steam lances and water outlet are quickly accessible and enable high working speeds when the queue in front of the counter is long. The large boiler capacity always provides sufficient dry steam for milk foam and heat for the fresh water for the coffee outlet. The tried and tested heat exchanger system with thermosiphon circulation and adapted attachments, such as the massive brewing groups, always ensures constant thermal stability. The boiler inlet is automatically regulated and the two steam lances ensure perfect, fine-pored milk foam with a perfect mix of steam and air. The Zoe SED version allows the user to program the doses. An electronic dosing system is called up via the individual buttons on the button panel. The simple control panel allows the correct setting for the programmed coffee dispensing and pre-infusion for each group at the touch of a button.

Pre-infusion timers have been available for a few years on multi-boiler high-end barista machines. Professional single-boiler machines at the higher entry level did not have this function until now. The Sanremo Zoe SED changes that. A pre-infusion moistens the coffee before the main extraction, which better prepares the coffee powder for the complete water flush and helps to significantly improve the result in the cup. The special feature of the Zoe SAP version is the semi-automatic programming. The continuous output is controlled by the barista himself using an on/off switch.
