Purity C Quell ST filter cartridges ensure optimum product quality for coffee and long machine running times and have been specially developed for the restaurant, catering and vending sectors. They significantly reduce the risk of deposits in the downstream end device. The filter medium also binds particles and reduces substances that impair taste and odor in both the filtrate and the blended water.

The proven BRITA filter technology decarbonizes the water in four steps:

1 pre-filtration

• A pre-filter retains coarse particles.

2 Carbonate hardness reduction

• The filter medium reduces the carbonate hardness and thus the formation of limescale.

3 Activated carbon filtration

• All water – including blended water – runs through an activated carbon filter to reduce substances that interfere with taste and aroma.

4 fine filtration

• Finally, a fleece retains any remaining fine particles. The unique IntelliBypass technology ensures a constant bypass water content that is independent of the volume flow. This ensures consistently high water quality, even with low water throughput.

Environmental protection and recycling of water filters are essential components of the Brita corporate philosophy. We take back all used cartridges and the recyclable materials are recycled in our own processing plant. This means less waste is generated and resources are conserved.
