The Eureka Helios 65mm
Professional coffee grinder with 65mm high-performance grinder and silent technology
Even at first glance, the Eureka Helios differs from most other devices of this type. The high-performance on-demand professional grinder impresses with its well-thought-out design with compact dimensions and a solid base. It is the new high-performance grinder from Eureka. With its 65 mm steel disc grinder , which has previously only been known from the Atom Specialty professional series, it grinds an impressive 4.5 g of ground coffee per second. The Gastro coffee grinder has a convenient touch display with two programmable portion settings and is also designed in a noise-reduced silent design.
A wide range of functions can be selected via the menu on the multi-colour touch display. For example, you can set a service indicator for changing the grinding disc. Three programmable portion settings and the digital dosing counter with an accuracy of one hundredth of a second make the barista's work even easier and more precise. The adjustable and removable ejector, in conjunction with the variably adjustable portafilter fork, ensures that the ground coffee falls perfectly into the various portafilters.

Technical characteristics of the Helios 65
The espresso grinder is solidly made. The large diameter of the grinding disc and the low speed of the motor ensure low grinding temperatures and prevent the escape of aromatic coffee oils. The correct grinding level is set sensitively and conveniently using an adjusting wheel. The patented suspension of the grinder can fully demonstrate its strengths.
The timer can be set mechanically or via the digital touch display . Once the timer has been set, the grinder always dispenses the same amount of coffee at the touch of a button. You can also switch the stepless 65mm grinder to manual operation. The touch screen can be used to individually program three doses + manual continuous operation, then the coffee is dispensed in a consistent amount and quality.
The perfect grind for espresso preparation
If you ask experienced baristas about the perfect espresso preparation, the first thing that comes to mind is not only the quality of the coffee beans but also the degree of grinding of the raw material. The more homogeneously the coffee grounds are ground, the more evenly the hot water in the coffee machine will flow around the grounds under pressure and the more evenly the desired aromas will be extracted. A good coffee grinder is therefore always the first step to perfect enjoyment.
Nice to Know
With disc grinders, the beans are ground between two concave grinding discs that are placed on top of each other. One of the two discs is driven by a motor and the other disc is fixed. The distance between the two discs is slightly larger on the inside than on the outside. The bean passes between the discs from the inside, is broken up here and then transported further outwards by centrifugal force. Since the grinding discs are closer together on the outside, the bean is ground ever finer. To adjust the degree of grinding, the distance between the discs is changed.
Conclusion for whom is the Helios coffee grinder suitable
The Eureka Helios 65 is the high-performance professional coffee grinder designed for the discerning espresso connoisseur or restaurateur and offers a great price/performance ratio. It impresses with its quiet operating noise. In contrast to comparable espresso grinders from Eureka, it has a 65mm grinding disc, which has a positive effect on the grinding speed and heat development. The grinding level and grain size are continuously adjustable so that the optimal coffee grounds for an espresso are achieved. Thanks to its excellent performance, solid workmanship and long service life, this model is worth its price.
